Jackie

Jackie was
born and raised in Calgary. She started training
and showing Arabian horses in her early teens.
She found a job at a local grooming salon as a
bather/brusher to support her horse habit but
soon realized she had found a new niche in her
life. That was twenty two years ago.
In 1992 Jackie attended her first grooming
competition in Edmonton and placed third with a
Bichon. That same year she went to Intergroom
in New Jersey one of the premier
International grooming contests. Jackie won the
gold medal in the International clipped terrier
class with her own Kerry Blue terrier. In 1993
she won the title of Intergroom International
Groomer of the Year and then again in 2003, 2006

the title in 2005 and 2006.

history having won the Winners Circle champion
at Groom Expo bringing home the 30,000 dollar
jackpot. Jackie was also named the Groom
Olympics champion that same weekend with total
winnings of 38,200 dollars the largest prize
money ever won at a grooming contest.
Jackie considers herself to be a true pet
stylist having never been involved in the breed
ring. Although she frequents dog shows to keep
up with current styles, her days are spent in
