The Pet Supply House humbly began its evolution as a 1200-sq.ft. pet food and supply store in small town Milton Ontario, The owner, Mike Pollard actively bred and exhibited English and Gordon Setters under the “Cheviot Reg’d” name giving him exposure to everything from show grooming to field trialing. His background gave him a different perspective on the world of dog supplies than that of a typical pet storeowner. It became his obsession to source unique and hard to find products for professionals and enthusiasts.

After a few years of rapid growth it seemed that it might be a good idea to put together a small photocopied catalogue and mail it to kennels and clubs in the area. Booths were set up at many local dog shows and trials, always striving to supply the special needs of their customers.

Today The Pet Supply House is Canada’s largest supplier to dog professionals and enthusiasts. The small photocopied catalogue has developed into a glossy, full colour catalogue containing thousands of products for Dogs that is mailed to all parts of Canada.
